Introduction to Yang Sheng – The Nourishment of Life
Join Alison every Monday morning at 9.30am for a journey of discovery into the world of Chinese medicine.
This Monday, 25th May 2020 we are taking a peek at the 4 pillars of Yang Sheng. This is the Chinese medical wisdom of nourishing life: cultivation of mind; cultivation of body; regulation of diet and sleep. This brief foray will introduce each principle, and further sessions will focus on each pillar in more detail. Get to know about the core ideas of Yin and Yang, free flow of life and the importance of the ‘middle way’. When we look after ourselves we can also benefit others, and although body decline is inevitable as we age, our wisdom can continue to grow.

and also 8.15pm to 9.15pm – Restorative Yoga for Ease into Sleep – (PJ’s optional)
For this session you will need, A firm cushion/bolster, 2 or 3 Pillows or big cushions, blanket, rolled bath towels, or small rolled towels, an eye cover….and anything else to make you comfortable…..
